Essay/Speech

I really strongly believe that the choices you make can influence our future why? Because our decisions mean something like if I decide to not eat then I'll be hungry. If I decide to not sleep then I'll be tired and won't work as efficiently. Those decisions will effect in a minor way but some things will effect it in the long run. Like when I decide to to this essay/speech I made the decision to do it and get my grade which will help me pass this class and will help me graduate which will help to go to a university and will eventually help me fulfill my dreams. So yeah decisions can definitely can change your future. For Emerson being yourself and letting your mind be free can change your future because if you decide to speak your mind and your opinions someone will appreciate it and will be inspired by it and will want to speak their mind as well. With Bradbury when he decided to make Eckels leave the trail he want him to decide his future. He disobeyed the rules and something terrible came out of it so yeah your choices can really change your future.

An Earth Shattering Fart

It was pretty easy to read I guess. The words weren't to hard. But the story doesn't really interest me. Like yeah time traveling that shit is super cool. But going back in time to just fucking hunt, that shit sounds dumb to me. And it's fucking expensive to like $10,000 is a lot of money to me. Maybe in the future $10,000 is like $1 or something. Like people are just like "$10,000 that's it inthought it was expensive. And they don't even guarantee your safety like that's the first sign that it's not a good idea. But no people actually want to do their shit..fuck that.

Emerson's Child

I think Emerson would think the election of like a growing point. To learn from it and to keep going. I think he would want the people to stick together, have people keep speaking their minds. He would want us to grow out minds to think outside the box about the future of the country. I think he also would want us to come together and to help each other out.
I think Emerson would want us to listen to what they teach even if we won't ever use it. As for viewing our aspirations I feel like he would want us to persue our dreams and goals. He would want us to do whatever makes us happy. And whatever shows the person we really are.
Yeah it's pretty hard to really be yourself but I think and know that when you speak your mind and really find yourself someone will appreciate it. And will agree with what you have to say. How I am when I'm alone and it's just me and my mind. I tend to be a pretty quiet and serious but when you get to know me I can be pretty happy and "normal" I guess.I can also be pretty mean and petty when you say stupid shit or something that offends me. But being yourself is literally one of the most peaceful things ever. To just let yourself be free, to not be acting fake and not really say or do what you wanna do or say.
How I would explain Emerson to a 10 year it would probably be like to just be yourself. I mean 10 year old are pretty smart they know things so I think it's like talking to a regular person I guess. But to just tell them to be who you wanna be. To not listen to the dumb things people have to say to you.
That's all I have to say about that.

Emerson for the young buck

What the essay Self- Reliance wants us to learn us to be yourself. To think for yourself or to not let other people put other ideas into your head. He also thinks everyone is a genius from a baby to an elder person. That's what Emerson what's us to learn.

Why I'm so serious

All lot of my friends say they thought I was mean or a bitch cause I'm always so serious. Well I just have one thing to say about that. I DONT FUCKING KNOW WHY IM SO SERIOUS. That's just how I am that's just how my face is. And when people think I don't laugh. What the fuck I laugh maybe at not what they fucking say but I laugh. Ok I'm done :)

Emerson said it

* I don't have all five cause I couldn't really hear people*

"What I must do is all the concerns me, not what the people think"
- To not really care what people think about you.
"But these impulses may be from below, not from above"
- Heaven & Hell
_________________________________________________________________________________

*The quotes that I found with my reason*
"Nothing can bring you peace but yourself"
- What i think it means is that you have to make your own decisions to make your self happy and at peace.
" Be yourself; no base imitator of another, but your best self"
- I think this means to be yourself. To not follow anyone to make your own path, to think for yourself. To not let someone put words into you head.

I'm Self-Reliant

What my impression of Self-Reliance was that it was pretty hard to understand. But once you get to the main ideas you start to understand the essay. And u actually really liked it's like a motivational speech, kinda tell you to be yourself and to think for yourself.
